Medium and medium-dark are the most widespread coffee roasts in Portugal; these allow expressing the regional flavour associated with each coffee, unlike the dark roast, which results in a roasted coffee with heightened aroma, body and sweetness that allow a sensory tasting experience that one wants to prolong, and it leaves a memory in those who taste it.
In general, the roast profile of Portuguese coffee is less intense preserving the essence of Portuguese coffee, reflected in a weak acidity, a strong aroma and a full-bodied drink.
